I love that more people are becoming proactive about their health. I love that you are asking questions. I love that you care enough about your body to want to support it well.
But I need to say something clearly.
I cannot tell you what supplements you personally should take.
Specific supplement recommendations are outside my scope of practice, and more importantly, your body deserves more care than a one size fits all answer.
Your deficiencies are not the same as someone else’s.
Your nervous system is not the same as someone else’s.
Your labs are not the same as someone else’s.
And what you need in one season may not be what you need in the next.
It would be easy to list out “take this for hormones” or “take this for fatigue” or “take this for detox.”
But that is not responsible care.
Fatigue can be iron deficiency.
It can be low B12.
It can be thyroid related.
It can be nervous system dysregulation.
It can be blood sugar instability.
It can be chronic stress.
The same symptom does not always equal the same solution.
When we guess, we risk over supplementing.
When we stack protocols from five different influencers, we overload detox pathways.
When we take high dose nutrients without testing, we can create new imbalances.More is not better.
Targeted is better.
If you truly want to support your body well, get labs done.
This is something I’ve personally done with Dr. Joanna at Haven Health, and it’s made such a difference in understanding my body more clearly.
Work with a functional or integrative provider who can:
• Look at your nutrient levels
• Evaluate thyroid markers
• Assess iron status
• Review blood sugar markers
• Evaluate inflammation
This allows you to dial in what you need, when you need it.
Not permanently.
Not aggressively.
Not blindly.
Just intentionally.
When I do share supplement resources, I use Fullscript because it is a trusted source for practitioner grade supplements.
Quality matters.
Sourcing matters.
Testing matters.
And where you purchase from matters.
Buying supplements from large online marketplaces like Amazon can be risky. These platforms are not regulated storefronts for individual sellers. Third party vendors can list products that look identical to the brand you recognize. The label may look the same. The logo may look the same. The packaging may appear identical.
But the product inside can be different.
It can be expired.
It can be improperly stored.
It can be counterfeit.
In some cases, it may not even contain what the label says it does.
That is not fear based. That is simply reality within open marketplace systems.
When you are using something to support your hormones, thyroid, detox pathways, or nervous system, purity and accuracy matter.
Fullscript provides supplements directly from manufacturers or authorized distributors. This reduces the risk of counterfeit products, improper storage, and sourcing issues.
If you create an account, you can view my trusted supplement categories. These are organized based on common areas of support like adrenal health or detox support.
These are not prescriptions.
They are not individualized protocols.
They are simply trusted options if you and your provider determine you need support in a specific area.
You can find my dispensary under “Dr. Courtney Ray’s Trusted Supplements.”
Once logged in, you can access the catalog and browse by category and receive 10% off every order.
Please do not take a supplement just because someone online said it helped them.
Even if that someone is me.
Your body deserves discernment.
Your body deserves data.
Your body deserves personal attention.
Health is not built on trends.
It is built on wisdom, patience, and understanding what your system actually needs.
If you are unsure where to start, begin with labs.
Begin with nervous system support.
Begin with quality food.
Begin with sleep.
Supplements are supportive tools.
They are not the foundation.
And when used correctly, they can be incredibly helpful.
But only when they are aligned with your unique physiology.
